Before I take my XR8 for a bit of a drive on the weekend, im planning on changing the oil for the engine, and the fluids for the diff and gearbox. The engine side of things has been sorted. I have some of the castrol SAF-XA fully synthetic LSD oil and a bottle of nulon diff treatment. So I would like to know what people think of that oil, personly i cant see what could be wrong with it, but i recall reading that Penrite make a fairly decent diff oil.
As for the gearbox, I havent got anything for that yet, so what do people recommend? Its manual BTW Also the engine oil is 10w-40, is this what most people tend to run?

I replaced the diff oil in mine using synthetic Castrol and a few days later it was leaking out of the pinion seal. Various specialists said the change from mineral to synthetic was the cause, but others have done the same without the leak occuring.
As for the gearbox, I've never replaced the fluid and engine oil I always use Penrite HPR 10.
