Default Due for service...pls help

Just about about to service my car for the first since buying it 3 weeks ago
Gettin my mate whos a mechanic to do it, but i told him ill buy the (performance) oils & parts tho.....but im unsure of wat to buy

Firstly the kms are 113, 000

Been looking on the forum for the motor oil u guys use and have decided in either castrol edge 5w-30 or penrite semi syn (unsure wat viscosity tho?)

Also wanting to replace the fuel filter but unsure wat type or size fits or is the best?

And last but not least, wat radiator coolant to use
(: i know this is a stupid question...but wheres the radiator cap? lol)

And is there anything else to change or replace ?
(considered iridium spark plugs but are abit pricey.....so savin for those)

Thanks
Pete

Castrol Edge is the good oil, though the Penrite in 5-30w would be alright.
The coolant tank is on the left as you look at it. The radiator doesn't have a cap as such.
I'd just get the filters from Ford.
New plugs would be a good idea if they still original.

Thanx Kiwijohn,

Yeh i guess ill go for Castrol Edge too

Do u guys use any particular coolant, and yr talking bout the big bottle on the left with pink fluid in it right ?

How much do the oil and fuel filters cost from ford, and how reguarly do u have to replace them ?

And also with the iriduim plugs, is there a particular size?

Sorry for all the noob questions !!! :(

Oil filters are about $10. The book says change 15k, but I think fuel economy suffers when the oil gets that old. I try & do it at 7.5k.
Yep, coolant is the pink tank. Haven't changed it myself.
Most of the specs are in the owners manual, or any parts place should be able to tell you what size plugs you need. If you want to do stuff yourself, I'd recommend getting a Haynes manual. They tell you all the little tricks, bleeding the cooling system can be tricky if you don't know where the bleed valves are.
