that's actually not a bad price, very low klms for a BA, the only thing letting it down is it's a 4speed, but really that's a realistic price for the car.

It's not stupidly over priced considering the leather seats and low kilometers. Definitely worth a look

As above, that price doesn't seem too bad at all considering the low kays. It also looks like a very tidy example, I'd give it a serious look if I was in the market.

Probably a little steep, espically as there is some BF and BF Mk2 XR6T with sub 100k getting around for that sort of money now.

Would be a nice car for about 18.5K.

Ask about the number plates though, those are brand new plates. Things like that always raise suspicions with me- could be something innocent like interstate move.

If you do go in to have a look just tell him you've been looking for a manual but couldn't find something that has really stood out, you only saw that one cause you stopped across the road for something.

Best prices for xr6t's are from auctions mate, executive ones getting sold.
Check out Manheim Fowles or Pickles auctions, it's really worth looking at and can get an absolute bargain!

surely the dealer will talk deals, you know, knock a grand or so off here or there, do some digging on its history, haggle, you can always get it a little cheaper. never believe them when they say its their "break even" price, cos it never is.

if the salesman isnt willing to talk ball, politely question his seriousness in the potential sale and request another salesman. they often respond quite well to this. then go on to say you've found a better one elsewhere and leave, if they have your number then they will call up to offer you a deal, bend over backwards to help you usually.

Could just be that the prev owner has personalised plates on it too.

A quick check of when the rego is due cound be a hint
Also Std mono ICC,

Keep looking around and use this car to haggle with.

When you find the car you like, you can say '' well i can get this one for this price...'' '' What deal can you do for me here".

Dealers are more negotiable then people think. Its pretty easy to get a free body kit, extended warranty or a few grand knocked off the price.
