This 9 year old is my daughter. Just in case there are any other members here in the Alice that have kids... Be really careful. There is more to this, this not the first time.... And if you are not in the Alice, take care anyway!!!! Kids are priceless!!!! Written by one very shaken ford owner.

Kids sure are priceless.
One of the things I hammer into my kids (I'm a school teacher of 9-10 year olds) is how to handle this very situation. Reading number plates, describing cars, describing people, clothing, how to get help and avoid being a victim etc. Then, when something like this is on the news, we have a casual chat about it, and go over it again and again the following day. Don't care if it fits into the timetable or not. Better to be prepared than confused or unsure in a situation where every action and second may count. These vermin will be more brazen now that they know there are more kids around. |
