Interesting article of the model breakdown of HSV and FPV sales. Both are enjoying an increase (good for Aust. manufacturing).
http://www.carpoint.com.au/news/2010...ar-sales-18025 FPV GT E/F6 E: 10 GS: 59 GT: 44 GT-P: 9 F6: 32 GS Ute: 13 Pursuit: 4 Super Pursuit: 40 F6 Ute: 30 Total: 241 HSV Maloo: 133 ClubSport: 116 GTS: 88 Tourer: 22 Senator: 26 Grange: 14 W427: 1 Total: 400 If you add the Tourer sales to the Clubsport, it pips the Maloo. The GS has become popular for FPV. Last edited by Brazen; 21-01-2010 at 10:57 AM. |

Interesting to see Maloo being number one.
Though if you look at carsales.com.au how many dealers have E2 HSV's actually in stock. |

The Grange is one of my favourite cars on the road. Luxurious, long, low and wide with a 6.2 V8, yes please. |

50% tax rebate for business stopped on Dec 31 so I'm assuming thats what fuelled a lot of Ute sales......

Do you like them on the Audi? You wont like the Autobahns in Germany either as they will be full of them soon. Every car sold in Europe from 2010 will have to have them by law. I like them and it shows that HSV is always looking ahead to the next trends. Perhaps they needed them on the SWB cars because these are still intended for the UK market. I read somewhere that all cars in Europe will need to retrofitted a year or 2 later. Kind of makes a mockery of the stupid law that was passed concerning low watt driving lights in Australia. Banning the use of these is just plain dumb. At least HSV has found another way around it. I expect FPV to have them soon. |

The Super Pursuit is far more popular than I thought....
I don't like the Maloo, but it is a recognisable name. Ask people who makes a Super Pursuit and most will only guess it... FPV is still young. Would love to see the GT-E and F6-E models grow in numbers.

If its true about the mandatory DRL's in Europe than it explains why HSV have got them, for their exports. So there is no gaurentee we'll see them on FPV's yet. If they do become more common I know I'll be getting a stronger pair of lenses for the Oakley's.
