Depending on what Ford do with global platforms going forward it's more likely to be the Edge or the Territory, not the Edge or Kuga.

What Ford needs is a smallish CUV for around $30,000 drive away,
that was something the dealers were driving home to Ford with Escape.
I have a dealer friend who said they could sell Escape fairly easily at that price
but I doubt Edge or Kuga would be under $35,000.....

Its a bit closer to Territory in size, but not as big.

It's about the same size as a CX9 isn't it? Either way, I love the Sports model too. That grille looks fantastic in black. A bit in your face in chrome, but great in black.

More like CX-7, we hired one last September and did close to 5,000 km in it. The 3.5 and 6-speed auto
were very willing but compared to the 4.0 it needed an extra gear or two on the hills. Mind you, we had

Actually, Hip and Shoulder room in Territory is closer to Expedition than Explorer.
so maybe there's an opportunity for Aussie designed products down the track....

Maybe FoA completed that common IRS design for Mustang/Falcon and Territory
as part of prelim work on GRWD or just to show the yanks it could be done....

I understand your mood on the back of all the negative Falcon articles but keep in mind Ford's
present product mix, Falcon and Territory upper series vehicles are DESIRABLE to buyers.
That changes the whole game...

jpd80- couldn't agree more, i think ford is not focusing on cheap though, they are trying to make quality products that they will make a decent profit with..

Exactly and let's not forget that the Factory line speed and work force is now right sized
for true market demand, there will be no low profit sales to fleets just to stroke sales egos.....

Nice looking car but I don't think I'd ever be in the market for one. I think the next Territory will be a bit bolder and stronger looking.

There was a video about the dash somewhere and how you can customise it. Looks amazing!
