I see what your saying, I didn't mean if he stuck to it as in he implemented the policy change, how can he if he's in opposition, I was meaning did he stick to his policy/election promise? I can't remember if he did? I think he was pressured a bit and dropped it?

common sense if they had have listened. Since then he has become more of a danger than anything on the roads. he sees a camera and stomps the brakes.

It was offered at the 2006 election to take it back to 10%, was popular with everyone but the government, shame they didn't win in the end.
Thing is, given the coalition is a real chance this year to form a minority government ala Steve Bracks 1999, I wonder if they have the guts to put it forward again... Now I may well be wrong on this, but I always thought car speedos were manufactured to be within 10%, so how can they book you for a smaller speed variation? |

Liberals have about as much chance of winning the election this year as I have winning Bathurst in my XE.
In case you can't work it out, they have NO chance of winning Government.

On the Melbourne to Geelong freeway the camera are usually fixed on bridges. As you pass them "snap".
Also driving to Geelong someone years ago has painted a " $ " sign , yellow, on the road (middle lane) in front of the speed camera bridges. Funny 1st time I saw it. |
