Perfect! Have you seen the ad? With the somersaulting, pastel-leotarded gymnasts exploding out of cannons? I've been trying to figure out - in between puking - who that ad is meant to appeal to; now I know - diplomats, bureaucrats and politicians (Kruddy is all 3).

I had a white statesman idling away outside my work the other day. Had lots of aerials, Australian flags sticking out of the front etc the weird thing is instead of number plates it had a gold emblem with silver backing. Anyone know whose car that was?

In WA that is the Governor's car (the state one not the Federal one)

Yeah SA, Qld, NSW also have the gold crown on the Govenor Statesman/Caprice instead of number plates, it actually looks pretty schmick.

The Commander of the Australian Army has a silver Caprice and instead of a number plate it has a red square with a large chrome star on it.

These top official cars are always beautifully presented, they look like they get cleaned for an hour for every hour they are driven.

Im sure there are some other official cars with interesting markings. Be good to see pics of them.
