Default Regular AU mini-meets Melb...!

Just throwing it out guys...
who would be up for a monthly mini meet in melb...?

Maybe second Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday of every month... for example..

with the place of the meet changing monthly from the eastern, northern, western suburbs.. to make it fair on everyone in Melb!

Meeting up for a little bit and then maybe going on a small cruise afterwards..

We can try find a few well lit spots and go from there...

Who would be interested..?

MODS: If this is out of place... please remove..!

Cheers
Kris

While a good idea Kristo I carnt see it happening monthly, as it is now most of us struggle to make it to Miss Allys Meet and greets monthly and there open to all , even to get the AU lot together once a year is a battle , best bet If you want to cruise is just pick a night, post it a few weeks in advance, and run with it, this is how we used to do most of the earlier cruises or join up with other club cruises, most worked out pretty good, For what it's worth We ( the former Cranny Crazys) found that SUNDAYS are best. This gives the older working family man time to get the house in order, mow weeds, keep wife of your back Short cruises work better 1 to 1 1/2 hour travel a hour or so for a lunch another hour to see what you can see, then back home. anyway good luck with the idea and keep us posted with any plans you come up with and we may be able to get most of the old gang up for a run

Thumbs up

KRISTO,

I'm happy to work with you on this if you'd like. I reckon another cruise is certainly in order.

It would need to be on a Sunday, to get the most coming along, and also the 1st or 2nd Sunday of the month, if I were to be able to come along etc, etc. 3rd and 4th Sundays of each month I have commitments that I cannot move around.

Cheers,

GK

doesnt matter, its easier because not everyone has to come to the one gathering, if its every month youre gonna get different people showing up so it doesnt matter if regulars dont come every month. i know i would show up here and there if it was on every month, even if i just rode with poelwyk

Don't really know Bundoora Park, but I'm happy to give it a go if you reckon it'll meet our needs.

We need lots of space, so that we can line up the cars close, without other members of the public encroaching on what we're doing.

It's always good to have a large carpark, and use the back corner of it, away a little from others.

there's a fair bit of parking mate, it's also got the highest metro lookout..(mt cooper) so we could drive up the hill for some shots overlooking melbourne..
hopefully the weather is great..
also, there's bbq facilities, and swings and play equiptment for the kids..!!
