Hi All

Just Like To Know Were Can I Get A New Vaccum Advance For My Dizzy ..
I Have A 1972 Gt Capri V6 Manual ..and Iam Looking Every Were And Cant Find Notthing ..
Need Help

what about trying scorcher or a replacemnet dizzy

unless you would like to stay original it may end up easier to replace the whole dizzy with a newer item

or try fleebay UK, dollar is pretty good still at the moment

What's actually up with the old vac? is the diaphrarm split?

have you tested it? put a small piece of pipe on it and...suck - if the 'arm' that goes into the distributor moves then it's fine.

If you don't have one, then you could probably use one from a Pinto motor
(pretty sure the spring rate/vacuum are very similar), but it's been a while since I worked on these)

thanks engine guy .but i have sucked and yerrr the diafreme is shoot it does not work at all ...
so do you think the pinto one works for the 2.0 litles mod

Try Recarb at Kawana, Sunny Coast. They recondition vacuum advances.
