Default The $1.5m dream Garage Challange

Just thought that it would be fun to put a thread where you can say out loud what cars you would have if you had $1.5 million to play with.

Here's the scenario: you have just won gold lotto or the like, or have accumulated wealth through business ventures, property, shares etc, & it’s time to reward yourself for all your hard work. However before you going licking your chops & rubbing your hands together & post, there are a few rules to this game:

- You have (obviously) $1.5mil to spend. This is the ceiling cost of the total garage.
- You needn't worrying about servicing/maintenance costs etc; you have separate budgets for this.
- Your dream garage must consist of a minimum of 5 vehicles & a maximum of 8.
- Contain one Ford product.
- Contain one everyday use car.
- Contain one current model (2010/11) vehicle.
- Contain one Classic Vehicle, (pre 1990)
- Contain at least one high end exotic from any country (eg: Lotus Excige, Lambo, Ascari A10) [no look alike kits/replicas for this]
- Kit cars (DRB Cobra/GT40) are allowed separate from the exotics
- Vehicles are in todays prices & must be referenced. (Cars sales, Auction Houses, etc)
- Can contain bikes, trucks, or boat, etc, if you wish. (Whatever floats your boat!)
- Can contain a pure track dedicated vehicle (old V8 Supercar, Specifically built track car)
- You are allowed to combine two unconflicting rules, eg 2010 Ferrari California (Current model/exotic), 2010 FPV Super Pursuit (Current model/Ford Product/Everyday use), etc.
- Car listing must specify year, make, model, (specialty/sub model if applicable), & price.

Other than that, you are free to choose as you want.

So to start, heres mine:

1 - 2010 Aston Martin DBS $419,000
2 - 2010 FPV GTP $ 85,000
3 - 1971 Valiant Charger $ 28,000
4 - 2010 Triumph Daytona 675 $ 19,000
5 - 2001 Dodge Viper $167,000
6 - 1969 Dodge Charger $135,000
7 - 2010 Lamborghini Murcielago $ 623,000

Total Garage Cost: $1,476,000

All Car Prices Sourced form Carsales.com, Bike from Bikesales.com

All right guys & girls, Have fun.

AC Cobra Replica - $75 000 Classic

2009 Ferarri F430 SCUDERIA - $499 000 Exotic

2008 Ducatti Desmosedici RR - $99 990 Bike

2008 TRD Hilux 4000SL - $64 990 Daily

OCC Black Widow Bike $150 000 (Estimate) Bike

2006 Four Winns Vista 348 - $216 000 Boat

56 F100 - $69 500 Ford Classic

Plenty of Coin Left over! Total $1 174 480

Though the Cobra would be swapped for a original one, but i couldnt find one in a quick 5 minute search. so that would probably bring the total up to be close to the target.

But also if i was serious id probably shop around and get better prices to or wait for a better item, so that would bring it down again, but id probably get greedy and want a bigger boat lol.

2008 LAMBORGHINI GALLARDO MY08 SUPERLEGGERA -my high end exotic (369K)

2010 MERCEDES E63 AMG -more than likely daily driver, also current model 2010 (235K)

2010 LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER SPORT SUPER CHARGED the token 4WD and boat tow rig & current model(187K)

2008 ASTON MARTIN DBS -just a dream car, since i saw one, always said i'd want one if filthy rich (395K)

1971 CHEVROLET CORVETTE STING RAY - the classic (48K)

2006 HSV COUPE VZ GTO - another daily but always loved the shape (47.5K)

2009 DUCATI 1198S -dont know enough about bikes but Ducati's sound bloody mean and this one looked pretty (38K)

tops idea of a thread, kept me busy as i said above for about 2hrs drooling over cars...thanks.

1. 2010 FPV F6 Ute - $60k (will get some power thrown at it)
2. 2008 Audi RS4 - $100k (would look into a twin turbo set up)
3. 1989 Ferrari F40 - $600k est
4. 1926 Bugatti Type 35B - $250+
5. 2010 Ford Mustang by Roush - $200 est

Would also have a few original muscle cars for projects to keep my retired **** busy.
