Same deal you should be shot, why else would it be illegal, and they try to bring in a test for it.

Yes, unfortunately the reality of such testing is grim. IIRC it's being trialled in NSW and will probably become permanant. But that's a nice wealthy police force.

A member of the SA police force whom i occasionally play darts with tells me the average cost of one marij test is $10 (per person) - and will therefore never see the light of day in SA. To compare, the estimated cost of an alcohol test is about $3 per person - so even RBT's are not too common here.

as i have many a friends who smoke herb daily....when ur a daily herb smoker its not like far out man...i seeing etc etc
its more of a contentness....and none of them have had accidents and are law abiding drivers..courteous and very good drivers

on the other hand it affects people differently and in hind sight isn't really acceptable

I think you have a perception there, the reality is they are impared in skill full stop. although some drivers seem impared even if sober ................ lol

Having been a daily pot smoker myself back when i was a teenager, im not concerned how often you smoke it - it makes you s-l-o-w t-o r-e-a-c-t. Tolerance overcomes the impact of it but you are still impaired. Badly impaired. Bit of a moot point having given it up ages ago but you wouldnt catch me driving stoned.

Suggesting "a friend" drives when stoned but is a law abiding driver is somewhat of an oxymoron anyways, lol.

The tough bit about dope is determining when its 'worn off'... alcohol you can do a blood test... but even after 8 hours of having a pipe... are you still impaired?? No real way to tell, the stuff stays in your system for weeks...

Those advertisements do work, it has worked on me, and if (like any advertisement) it works on just one person, then it has served it's purpose.

You don't need to crash to learn a valuable lesson. I haven't, and I will keep it that way.
