Could someone please point me in the direction of some notes on how to remove the entire interior from an AU (ute specifically but sedan notes will do).
Just want to have some reference points handy before I attempt it. Thanks

Probably should clarify that its only really the seats I am wondering about - the rest I know how to do. Just worried about unplugging the wiring etc.

Disconnect battery, remove mounting bolts, lie seat back to access pretensioner wiring plug (under seat), unplug connector and remove seat. Did mine yesterday so I can finally put all my sound gear in
Hope this helps Wes

The seats come out complete on the rails.
I dunno why you're stressing ... honestly, removing the seats is one of the easiest jobs. No tricks involved except for the socket head retainers for the rails/floor. |

Just be careful not to scratch the paint on the sill area or plastics as you take the front seats out.

If you’re doing the carpet Austin, the list of things that have to come out are:
Seats Center consol Scuff plates Bottom b pillar trim (which requires top B pillar trim and rear side window trims off) On top of this you will need to undo the bottom dash mounts on the front of the trans tunnel. To get the carpet out around these is a fun job. You actually need to bend these tubes out slightly and then slowly wiggle the carpet out. Also, to get the vinyl floor out from around the shifter (that large plastic support) I had to slit it from there to the airbag module. I can't remember doing this to the carpet though, but you may have to. It doesn't matter though as it is hidden by the center consol. Good luck with it all. At least it's not a dash change Cheers
