AU2 xr8
Hi all, About 3 months ago i purchased an X3 with three tunes for my AU2 XR8 200kws. Im happy with the power upgrade but (mon-fri) i drive it to and from work "cruise" and as before i was getting about 400 kms/per tank and now with the tune programmed im getting 330-370km/per tank ? i contacted the people that sold me the X3 and they said to bring it down for a dyno , but the problem is there there in VIC and im in Sydney. So i rang around and there's is 2 places they charge $500 for a before + after dyno + tune . One place is called cresent motorsport, Warwick Farm and Intune Motorsport Seven Hills, they can throw in a couple of (off the shelf)tunes as well ? anyone know where to lean more towards ? or have any other places in mind ? |

you could use the factory tune during the week and load the performance tune on weekends for fun thats the great thing about flash tuners you can have the best of both worlds. that having been said I would be expecting better than 400Ks from a tank unless there is either something wrong or you have a heavy right foot

I always got better fuel economy out of my tunes, not worse. I'm not using the SCT gear at the moment but have previously run the X-cal with great results on 2 different occasions. Certainly a custom tune will get you the best of both worlds on your vehicle.
