Default FORD Roadside Assist

Gday Team,

Just got the BF back from REX in Geelong after a service , and apparently covered in that price is 12 months with Ford roadside assist. Has anyone ever used this service? I haven't ever seen it before.

Do they just outsource the call outs? If so who do they use?

I received the same thing from John McGrath here in the ACT today. Will look at cancelling my existing roadside assistance and run with this for a while.

Where I live and you need RAA ....usual call centre phone call. Sometimes anything up to 30min later your mobile will ring.... (thats if Telstra have the NextG working properly) "Yeah..gidday ... here from RAA are you urgent... Iam on call tonite but just sitting down to dinner/putting the kids to bed" etc etc
The local contractors dont like going out at nite.
And sales people want me to take 24hour road side assist.... BAH

RAA know all about it, have admitted to me theres nothing we can do, nobody else wants the contract.

If you are already a member of one of the State services like RACQ or NRMA then "Roadside Assist" is worth nothing. All that happens is you ring the Road Side Assist number and they then ring the service.
