Gday!
I need some advice. After writing off my precious Nissan S15 I'm looking for a new car. The Fords look unreal but I can't decide between an FPV GS or an XR6T (FG series). I want a quick car but at the best price. So the way I see it is: XR6T: 30k purchase plus 7k mods = $37k / 300 RWKW FPV GS: 45k purchase plus 1k tune & 2k exhaust = $47k 350RWKW Which one should I go with???? They're both awesome value but I don't know which way to go. |

Just get the GS. More than enough power, intoxicating hypnotic rumble, you'll be the envy of other drivers on the road including the turbo boys and the bonnet bulge is the cheapest p***s extension money can buy.

Yea just to clarify I'm definately not interested in the Boss 5.4L (not that it's bad or anything), I'm only looking at the Miami 5.0 supercharged. And BTW I'll just be looking for secondhand, definately can't afford brand new!

Just depends.. the turbo is an absolute weapon, but has no character
V8 will rumble at idle, cruising speed or when your boot is in it. It'll always be a hoot.. Turbo will be insanely fun when booting it, but just boring when your idiling, cruising along. The 8 will obviously use more juice, so if fuel is a concern maybe the 6T is the way to go. You can't go wrong with either one though.

as mentioned, this has been done so many times it's not funny. Use the search feature and you'll find many, many threads on the V8 vs I6T debate.
