Well The Great Race is over for another year and Ford have failed once again to finish in the top 3 places, I think its just a fact that the Holdens are a faster car, I dont know if its just me but i feel Ford just dont have the pace these days to match Holden or is the the Ford drivers ?????

ford drivers (no offence to them) i think, I'm pretty sure that the cars, on the inside, have to be very simular, The Holden Drivers are just amazing!! Hopefully they will move over to ford ;)

Its driver, not car. They are too similar to blame the car.

definitely the drivers, nearly everything on either make in V8SC is interchangeable. i was also thinking, is there more holdens than fords in the series? because it sure seemed like it.

The driver is the winner, not the thing that looks like a little like a Falcon or the thing that looks like a bit like a Commodore...they may as well be the same car under the skin nowadays.
Bring back pre-V8 Supercar formula racing!!! One in, all in, all sizes, all makes, based on whatever performance car the factories make... |

Yes, of course Holdens are faster, that's how they all run within tenths, sometimes higher. It's also why 888 had so many victories while running Fords, because Holdens are faster.

There is also a significant ratio from holden to ford in how many cars are on the track.. but Winterbottom should've won.

All the cars in the V8sc pack these days are very very similar. It doesn't matter what shell or badge it has over the top.
The simple fact is that Ford walked away from the V8sc series years ago, so we can't expect the same results we might of seen in the past. The number of Holden teams these days should be a good sign of what has happened. Winterbottom did well to get fourth. Good work
