how do you take seats out in an AU? i want to take out my passanger seat for drag racing but its not a standard bolt that holds it in. any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated as to how to get it out

Very easy mate. You need a T50 torx bit to remove the bolts. Take out all 4 and lift the seat out.
As for the rear seat there's 8 10mm bolts you need to undo to remove the seat back. As for the base of the rear seat, just lift up on it and it will unclip itself.. Easy..!

cheers boss. was actually gonna PM u seeing as u just did your seats. hahaha.
rear seat is staying in. its got to much amp wiring in it to take out. but i'll take the base out. know how to do that. cheers i'll try grab a T50 torx bit. |

Haha.. No worries.
Yeah just go to alltools or similar and ask for one.. You can get cheap ones. I bought an impact one so I can use it with a rattle gun. Cost me about $20 IIRC, so the normal ones should be under $10 i guess.. Cheers

Allen keys also work just as well in 6 sided torx bit's. It's not exactly the right thing to do, but it does work.
