Default 325 or 322mm brakes

Hey guys,

The front rotors/pads on my G are due for replacement, so I'm exploring some options.

Either get standard size (298mm) slotted DBA's & decent pads or PBR 325mm discs & calipers ( I believe they came standard on FPV BA's & optional on xr6t/xr8's). Or BF/BF2/FG 322mm discs & calipers.

I was wondering if any of you guys who upgraded to Brembo's still have any of your old gear, either 325 or 322mm kits for sale?

Cheers,
Bud

Yeah Jase, I thought about that. However, I decided (for the time being) to just replace front discs & pads. I ordered DBA slotted discs from aff sponsor Race Brakes Sydney, should arrive by monday.

Look into UPC. They sell decent priced upgrades for AU onwards. I know for my AU3 the 330mm kit was going to be $700 (rotors, pads and brackets for caliper)
Im sure they would have something for BA alot cheaper.

Hi mate, I bought the 322mm upgrade for my BA. $750 from FTG autosalvage a few years back. Completely new kit, with RDA discs. Race Brakes Sydney also had a similar deal back then too. The RDA discs were the only let down as the BA is a heavy car I found I picked up the odd "hot spot". Would get DBA rotors next if I wasn't selling it.

Worth giving both places a call and see if they have something for yours.

Cheers guys, I just replaced discs & pads for now. Will chase up 325mm combo next time. I can't believe BA series 1 v8's,turbos & lanes all came out with standard size brakes as the rest of the range.
