Default Found this just outside the house.

Actually my sister noticed it crawling across the footpath trying to get into some scrub. The blue tongue is mine, I've had it since it was young, probably 6 yrs old now. The other one had a few bits of dry grass stuck around it's eyes. I got rid of that, took it home for a quick photo and it's back out safely where it beongs.

they are blue tongue`s if im not mistaken had a couple as pets as a brat

The ol stumpy tail hey, I used to have lot's of lizard's when I was a kid, I lived next to a bush so we had them everywhere, no snake's though, they say if there are blue tongue's around they keep the snake's at bay, might be true.

Does anyone know the source of this old wives tail...??? Always believed it until we bought property out in the sticks... We get heaps of blue tongues but also quite a few snakes.
