Default Custom Air Box for pod filter

Howdy PPLs,

I currently have a pod style setup for my Fiesta. I have the stock plastic piping running from the throttle body to pod, but it is just above the manifold, so it get hot 95% of the time. I have put an insulation sleeve over the pipe but its still gaining heat for some reason.

Can anyone recommend a product that would fix this perminatly or would it be best to use silicone hosing?

But my main concern is finding an air box about the 20cm X 10cm X 10cm so i can put the pod in. The rate the weather is going its getting hotter and hottter and my car is loosing performance.

Is there the option of getting one custom made?

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Cheers

Damo

Hey Wulos,

Yes i will be at the euroford club dinner. What do u intend on showing me?

Also instead of a new airbox, is there anything that can be used to cove the pod. Ie ive seen the new K&N Apollo filter and its got a metal covering over the whole pod.

LoLLLL

Imagine that big EECIV airbox in the Fez. Then I'd be able to cruise with the eseries club again. Only if it was held with cable ties.
