I'm sure there were people who lamented the death of "real" driving when cranks stopped being used, and when seatbelts became mandatory...

Drove a manual LS1 for a while, LOVED IT! Autos were for wimps and soccor mums.
Drove the F6 equiped with ZF, SOLD! Couldn't believe how bloody amazing it was, still can't, such a great box and it's funny watching the manuals lose that little bit each time they change gear while I charge on ahead For a daily, I'd go the auto for sure, manual is great fun but try sitting in stop start traffic in a hilly area, everyday for months on end and it gets old VERY quickly. |

The 4-sp. colunm-shift auto in my Falcon Ute, is the WORST A/T ever made
Gearing is all wrong, and other: 1st is way to high, wont launch hard 4th is to low, wont click into top till 75kmh CLUNKS into Drive gear from Park, like cars from decades ago Gear lever is floppy Colunm covers wont clip together properly worst thing by far in my ute, roll on the 6 speed auto! |
