These look to be the high performance variants - one has quad exhaust pipes and the other has twin exhausts, so I'm guessing one has the 3.0-litre supercharged V6 and the other has a 5.0-litre supercharged V8.

I guess we'll know more in a few days.

Further to yesterday's post, looks like the F-Type has been officially launched: http://www.wikicars.biz/news.php#!co...rticle&pno=107. The V8 S sounds blisteringly quick (0-100 in 4.3 seconds), but I get the feeling there could still be an 'R' version in the works.

Not seeing anything on GoAuto or The Motor Report yet...

I think the Ford content in JLR is less and less per new model, but some items are still from Ford,,,,,,,for now.

Lighter than a GT-Rspec, more powerful on paper than a GT-Rspec, only .2 seconds quicker to 100kmh. What the.. ?

Looks better : Valid point, but an FPV is no Jag though.
