Hi guys, I have a friend who has recently taken his car into VIV Inspection place..
The car was minor fire damaged, and they have requested him to do a "Water Immersed Vehicle check" - Which, I'm assuming is for an authorized shop to pull the dash apart and check all wiring loom and connections because 'water' or 'chemicals' to put the fire out may have damaged the wiring loom. However, that has all been replaced.. Does anyone have an idea on a rough cost - if you've had it done before? |

I think it is also a rust inspection also. My guess would be $500 plus.
