changing clock spring

changing clock spring,
take air bag cover off,
take steering wheel off ?
and the clock spring is the black oval shape behind steering wheel ?

ok,i have worked out,this is what it is :-) i now have a horn yay:-)

you think the clock spring could effect air bag light to flash ?as it was flashing...... i guess ill find out in 1hr when it resets it self ?

Yes the clock spring affects the airbag light. The light will flash error code 32 when the clock spring dies.

do you know what the best pully is to remove steering wheel ?
supercheap will have one?

You shouldn't need one. If it is on tight, just try a little spray lube. Give it 5 mins and then a firm nudge should break it loose.
