In no paticular order.
P5 Landau (ultimate Aussie two door) XP Futura coupe (because my father had one) EB Falcon S-XR6 (first Tickford enhanced model and what a ripper) 1970s Lincoln Continental Mark IV (last of the behemoths. Mark V is also large but the fuel crisis had already started affecting this model.) Ford Laser TX3 Turbo AWD (very underrated and would have been a cult car like the Impreza WRX if it wasn't for the Ford badge) |

Too many restrictions. I don't want a modern FPV or 5 classics.
I want a black LandCruiser 200 and a black Fairlane 500 ZH. The left over money would be used to mod the LC for offroad use, and finish off the ZH to my taste (paint it black for starters). |

Well since it is my $80k, and I can do what I want, I will cheat! This is what I would buy:
1. Landau 2. AU XR8 with leather. 220kw version (so post 2000.) 3. SYII Territory Ghia turbo. 4. XP Wagon 5. MkV Lincoln Continental with the 460 Big Block. 6. HG Monaro (Probably have to be a replica, since I assume all the originals have rusted away.) I would then need a new property with several garages to keep them, and probably a divorce lawyer.

Ah well, as I said, it isn't a contest. The reason I posted it was I said to someone the other day that I could have a mini car collection for the price of a GT. I could drive something different every weekend depending on the mood that I am in. Also, I'm a little older now and I think that I would prefer the ability to be able to relive my youth owning a couple of older cars than one current model FPV. |

Does it have to be 5 cars or can it just be the one for $80,000?
Just the one: http://www.carsales.com.au/private/d...1991-14809141? Honda NSX, the "every day" sports car. If it has to be 5 cars: 1: BMW 850i http://www.carsales.com.au/private/d...1991-14796716? 2: Z32 Nissan 300ZX http://www.carsales.com.au/private/d...1990-13698599? 3. MA71 Toyota Supra: http://www.carsales.com.au/private/d...1989-14485828? 4: Ford Laser TX3 Turbo: http://www.carsales.com.au/private/d...1990-14617268? 5: Mitsubishi Galant VR-4: http://www.carsales.com.au/private/d...1996-14293322? Total - $59,999! $20,000 for mods to the TX3 $1 for a prostitute with a rash |

1) 1993 Foxbody Mustang Notchback - Nice light and very easy to setup to go very fast, also very cheap and very trailer park.
2) 1993 Cosworth Sapphire - Cheap, 4 doors and most of all it has a YB Cossie in it. 3) ED Gli Falcon - The one I have. I'm a sucker for late 80's early 90's style and the relative cheapness of them. left over money which I would say would be 25-30k id spend on making them fast.

Alright I'm gonna let out my inner bogan somewhat.
My cars would be somewhat down to categories: Daily: EL Fairmont Ghia 5.0L - $7,500 Cruiser: XC Fairmont GXL V8 - $25,00 Rocketship: R33 Skyline GTS-T - $20,000 (Good nick, modified) Classic: Jaguar Mk II 3.4L in British Racing Green. - $20,000 Convertible: BMW E30 325i cabriolet - $7,500 I could definitely live with this quite well

1989 Z32 300zx twin turbo 2 seater 5 sp ($3k)
1989 R32 GTR ($12k) 1989 NA MX5 ($5K) 1989 Vitara JLX softtop 2002 AU XR8 5sp ($5k) 1998 Hyundai Excel twincam ($free)(why? in 20 years you will not find one) AWD Magna, maybe even a 380 also 2002 CV8 Monaro if I had the room and the cash that's what would be parked in there. all are under $20K so very affordable and may not be classics now but they will be, also may not be worth heaps but they will not lose value

I'd keep what I already own:
2003 Land Rover Discovery HSE TD5 - towes the boat, great for camping etc. 2002 Ford AU Series 3 Falcon XR8 Pursuit 250 - handy to have a ute and a fun one is even better with the remaining amount (approximately $30,000.00), I would purchase: Nissan R32 Skyline GTR or maybe a Mitsubishi GTO - would depend on particular examples, but basically, some form of Japanese AWD go-fast machine. AND, either a Honda S2000, Toyota MR2 Spyder, Porsche Boxster, MG F, Mazda MX-5 or some form of sports convertible within the price range as a fun-to-drive toy-car.
