Good evening all,
Do we have any members who work in a Sydney service department or does anyone have a very good contact they can highly recommend? Pm details if needed. Cheers, Jason.

So no one can recommend any Service Department in Sydney?
I'm asking because Ford have allowed me to take my car to another dealership for assessment of my problems and would prefer to take my car somewhere that has been recommended rather than just the closest joint. Cheers, Jason

Sad state when no one can reccomend a Ford service dept. You may have been better to explain why in your first post but now you have explained then I hope you find a decent dept and get your issues fixed. They are out there I'm sure they are but I cant help cos I'm on the Goldie.

No, dealership warranty. 4 months out of factory warranty. They have had the car several times and have just diagnosed an apparent major transmission issue that I need to pay for to investigate further. A subdtantial sum has already been proposed.
I have argued that it's a conflict of interest that the shop that has possibly caused the damage is the same one that will diagnose and decide on who pays for the repair. I have taken it to an independant chain and have been given an alternate diagnosis which is vastly different to Ford. I have a PM already, and the workshop I was at this morning has also suggested a place. Thanks.
