late model cars have 'power source' plugs early models had cig lighter = same thing sort of.
Id like to put a cig lighter in the BF but with an amber ring not puke green any ideas please?

Change the globe Tony, in the back of the plug there should be a light socket that takes a T10 globe I believe. Just track down the colour you want and swap them over.
