Townsville 500 spectator seating ??

Heading up to Queensland for the Townsville 500 was just wondering what peoples opions are on seating choice to watch the race !!

Anywhere from turn 3 til the hairpin

ive sat in the stands and also the grass. seats were cramped and uncomfortable.
personally i prefer the grass as you can wander around and pretty much sit anywhere you like.

Even before I bought this GS my plan for Miami was going compound turbo, but now I'm not sure it's necessary to be honest

So your saying just a general admission is the go and maybe the pit pass

The main thing in Townsville is to find shade...pretty hot normally.
Even if you get a grandstand seat you wont be in it all day.

I have done GA to 5 star corporate, all have their good and bad points.

Paddock pass is good as well.

definitely get the paddock pass into the pits,especially the friday.
good thing about grand stand seats is toilets are always free, where as the General admission toilets seem to get a line up at times.
