1979 was not exactly a great period in terms of style.

Didn't Brock do a few Falcons at one point around the time of the EA?

Peter Brock modified EA series Falcon S and Ghias from 1988 to 1990, renaming them the B8. The engine modifications included extractors, special exhaust, blueprinted ignition, a dyno tune and a free-flow air intake. The engine power increased to a respectable 164.5 kW. Suspension-wise, the car received new springs, new shocks, uprated anti-roll bars, modified strut mounts and spring pads, and suspension bush tweaks. Externally, the car received 16” wheels, a lower body kit all round and a subtle spoiler. A later version called the SE was introduced with extra options.

What...it was 1979...you think that's a "crap colour combination"...? You should have seen half the combos and style packages proudly advertised by all the makers back then...

Geez, you young whipper snappers...

Interesting that it's listed as a VB yet carries VC tail lights and grille.

it might have been said, but the p76 coupe, v8. very rare. only ten known left.
I saw a lime green one once parked at central Sydney train station, and the pictures don,t do it justice. it was very nice.

If it is the Prototype as advertised that may explain the VB/VC mixing of parts. Brocky was still in the good books with GMH at the time so probably had access to all sorts of goodies including yet to be released grills and tail lights....

In the 70's the colour combos of the cars matched perfectly with the clothes we used to wear, also car body modifications.....

Where do people think Flared guards and Lime Glaze came from.....

....ooh the memories....well it did look good at the time, I guess you had to be there...

HAHAHAHA.

I think only 2 XB GT Coupes were made with Lime Glaze. I like it myself. Probably wasnt that popular amongst Fords because Holdens were plenty in a similar colour.

Those shoes and shirt should have been purple or orange.
