I can see it on Top Gear already. Jeremy Clarkson saying how bad *** it looks, how awesome it sounds and how wicked the acceleration is then continue to compare the handling to a 600k Euro....then do a challenge in the U.S and comment on how beautiful it is to drive in their conditions, open pothole-less roads with a turn here and there.

You forgot to add that Wheels will also do an exclusive on how the GTS was quicker down the quarter as well

Someone start a new thread for the Dodge Challenger please.
Guys Dodge don't have anything to do with wheels, GTF or GTS. Show some respect for the car and who ever started this thread. Has anyone heard if the hell cat may get imported either by Chrysler or a private individual when it gets released. Surely there is merrit in bringing even a limited edition in. |

Imagine how awesome it would be if they shoehorned that motor and driveline into something that didn't weigh more than 2 ton. Factory 9 sec car anyone?

One very sweet ride!
10.8 off the showroom floor, most impressive, probably will cost $65k? US. Spoilt rotten in the states, cheap cars and cheap fuel to run them. Agree, this machine should have it's own thread.

Seeing as they changed the tyres, it's really 11.2 straight off the showroom floor.

Can't help wondering how they're going to get past Australian noise regulations ? These beasts sound way too good and I'm pretty sure the noise nannies will be seriously upset.

I heard that the Mustang will have a competitor soon and it will have 750 hp factory and be lighter to boot.
might have to move to the US (actually not a stupid Idea - the money saved buying a car over there you can pick up a nice house and a machine gun and my investment income would go alot further in the US than Aus) |

This thing just keeps getting better. I wouldnt be surprised if this out-sells the Ford and Chev just from looks alone! Then there`s other things like.....

Our only chance of seeing anything similar is if the engine finds its way into the Grand Cherokee or Chrysler 300.

I couldn't care less about the GTF or GTS discussion of which is better when I see this ride.
Would much rather it around the 70-80K price point. Hopefully they consider bringing it over even in small numbers, although of course very doubtful. Not just another Falcodore version which are everywhere in Aus, and extremely powerful and good looking car. Awesome. |

Chrysler have said few times that it is possible to sell the Charger here if they use the interior of the 300 inside instead.
So there is still the smallest of small chances a Hell Cat Charger could make it here one day.

The Challenger was coming here at one point but then the GFC put an end to that.
Will we ever see the Challenger sold at dealerships - probably not under this body shape. |
