I watched that live a few years back and I live in Qld.
Only went for 1 season.

Thought it had been re-revamped again...almost time.

I watched a few episodes a couple of years back, not a bad show if you can get past the terrible acting (although I've seen worse). They really got the sound of the Shelby Mustang spot on, supercharger whine and all, sounded like the real thing (maybe because it was!).

I liked not how in the original series with the Hoff how KIT would squeal tyres on a dirt road.

Cheers!

I think I watched a few episodes and couldn't get into it. Would have liked to have seen a car, such as a Camaro or similar modified somewhat to resemble the old KITT. I just found the show very generic, despite it having a high-tech car in it. The old show is so much more fun.

This is entirely possible. I have been in a car where the driver managed to do this repeatedly. The driver blamed the squealing on 'American dirt'...

It's a good remake IMO. Unfortunately it was only 1 season. I've got the DVD set at home. It's amazing what KITT can do now.

same for me. blah....
i didn't like their choice of Mustang for a 'sleek futuristic' spy car, with it's retro 60s styling. a Corvette would have been a better choice, but marketing is king. Val Kilmer's performance was bland too. I realise he's supposed to be robotic, but kilmer took it to another level.
