I loved this beast when I saw it a You tube some
time back. Has the car been "gutted" to reduce
weight and a strip only vehicle. Keep us guys posted.

Awesome to hear that. They're a heavy car and I was surprised

when mine tipped the scales at 1800kg. Hope I can achive the same

results as your XR8. Mines a Dart 363 with Z304 heads custom cam

with a Paxton Novi 2000 bolted to the side. I'm also

running with a toughened BTR auto. I can't wait tilltit's all done.

Going to Strretbuilt Racing tomorrow

Oh BTW have you still got the aircon working and did it cause issues

with the intercooler piping? Cheers

There's that sensor/module connected to the standard throttle body that you need to have plugged up otherwise on idle your car would want to stall!

How did you go with your set up is the tune finished? How much power did it make?

Id say its a fair bit off till its ready. Went into the workshop on the 17th Oct

and there will be a bit of engineering required for the big

Novi 2000 to run a 4" intake and intercooling plumbing. N/A it

made 222rwhp then with 10psi it only managed 284rwhp which

had me baffled, hence saying eff it lets get a 363 built for it and be

done. I'm truly looking forward to the finished product

What cfm does your supercharger produce?
What size exhaust system are you running and is it auto or manual if auto are you sure it's not slipping?

Old set up making 450hp at the wheels with standard manifold and non intercooled at 10psi

Remember I'm still running the original cast iron windsor heads but ported and bigger valves but they're smaller than your alloys. Your combo should be making some serious power once its all sorted.

Hi BLN363. The Novi 2000 SC produces 1400 CMF and on my stock 302 I was running 4into1

pacemakers and a twin 2.5"system with 100cell cats and Manta mufflers. The fuel system was a

walbro gss294 pump, bosch 42 green injectors and a pro-M blow through MAF tuned with

SCT3 flash tuner. Man tell me about it not, even making 300 ATW was very disappointing

and a bit of a mystery to all concerned.

But now I've put all that behind me and am looking forward to the blown 363 ali headed plant.

Oh by the way (post33) I am running a strengthen BTR like yourself so a slipping transmission

wasn't the issue to be sure. That BTR shifts so hard and fast now, running a 2200 mall stall

(don't exactly know what a mall stall is) The one thing I wish is I had an answer as to why,

there must be a reason right, but I decided not throw any more money onto the 302 and

ended up getting a Dart 363 built.

Yeah love that and all T&D vids, inspires me haha, anyway I'm not here to hijack your thread mate

and give you my sob story haha, all the best mate and thanks for your interest.
