I have a 1999 model AU Fairmont Ghia.
When driving or in park with the ignition on the reds engine off. When I apply the brake pedal the parking lights come on and also the stereo lights turn off and the power window switches light up. Anyone had this problem or know what is causing it? Thanks in Advance. |

Sounds like the brake pedal switch is connecting to the parkers illumination. Had any work done to either lately?

Only thing I've done recently was change the battery and a stop tail globe.

you have either put the wrong type of globe in the stop/tail light, or managed to put it in the wrong way, or the plastic globe holder is cracked or broken causing crossed connection..
