Default Making a Toolkit to keep in the fg egas

i have always carried way too many tools in my car and was thinking i just need a small kit of the tools that are required for the car.
obviously it is always good to carry things like,

hammer
pliers
multigrips
wire cutters
stanley knife
magnetic pick up tool
electrical tape
pick tools

also trying to work out what is required for various screws, nuts, bolts etc on the car. i have taken alot on and off but can never remember what is required for any job...
21mm socket on breaker bar (wheel nuts)
spark plug socket
wrench and extension and elbow
5mm hex key (engine cover)
t20 screwdriver (door trims)
flat blade screwdriver
phillips head screwdriver (any particular size??)

thats about all my brain can think atm.....

I prefer a Jumpstart kit, it saves having to ask another driver and is safer on electronics (apparently). I don't keep it in the car though, the car is reliable so far (only 8 years old) but I take it in the boat for added peice of mind if both 720cca batteries ever decide to fail at the same time when the sky starts to fall. I do however have a set of 9m 35mm jumper leads to jump the boat when hooked up to the car after long periods of hibernation

jumper leads are on my next trip to supercheap... mayb a booster pack i dunno yet....
just went through my tools and realised i have everything i would ever need for almost any job for my car, for my work, for fixing mostly anything... lol... i have a full spanner set (just need a 21) i have a screwdriver set, an electric screwdriver set with over 100 bits, a 1/2 drive socket set (goes down to 8mm then adapters and smaller sockets) i have many different pliers.... 5 different sized shifters... test light.... wire crimpers....
hence the thought to downsize.....
the thread what do you carry in you car is one of the reasons why i thought about this..... it made me realise i have too much.... and by the time i have my spare wheel and my sub and amps and tools in my boot there is no boot space left...

Do you have a set of feeler guages? Its a dumb statement but I have 2 sets in the back of my ute, and I'm an electrician.. roadside repairs are one thing, but if you don't have spare parts tools are kind of pointless. Every car should have a spare tyre but when has a car ever stopped because the driver doesn't have a t20 to remove the door card to make it go again?
