As far as I'm aware, the ES type is the only screw-in type commonly found in domestic light fittings. I know there are a few others but they are a minority & not commonly known of. Usually in those weird modern European light fixtures, so that you can only buy a European made bulb to replace it when it blows. (usually after a few hours of continuous use) These are very hard to find. luke
