Shelby 560KW Super Snake

Shelby are releasing a special Mustang 50th anniversary model with 750HP (560KW).Known as the Super Snake, it will come in either auto or manual, with a larger supercharger creating the extra power. They also quote 10.9 sec for the quarter.
In US dollars, 69,995 PLUS car buys you several driveline upgrades, drive shafts and tail shaft, and styling changes, mainly front grill area. Only 500 will be made. I wonder will they consider the right hand drive market? So many different models from the aftermarket now, it's hard to keep track. I am starting to see a few new mustangs around the southside of Brisbane now. Cheers

The Mustang motorsport site says about 100k, not including donor vehicle, for the 750hp supersnake pack. That's not the 50th anniversary one though.

Haha sorry for thread hijack, but test drove my shelby today. they sound even better from inside at 8000 rpm. Will miss my GT tho, superchargers are a addiction. Will watch your build with interest on supercharging the 5.2 ....Jim.

When we visited the Shelby museum and factory outside Las Vegas at the end of 2013, you could drop off your brand new Mustang, give them a check for around $40,000, and walk away with a Super Snake that put out 850hp, road legal and warrantied...

Someone posted elsewhere about a lot of Mustangs popping up for sale...saw one outside our town on the way to Rocky for sale, bright yellow GT. The thing would only be a year old or so.

Yep so motor was already built for boost. The new ones start life as naturally aspirated.
