oh your kidding ... drunk pedestrians can cause as much damage as drunk drivers ... driving out of Sydney at night and dodging drunk pedestrians are a nightmare.

Isn't it crazy the poor driver swerved to miss hitting someone and dies!!!!!
If the pedestrian was drunk this makes the death even more horrendous!

That 4WD one sounds a bit off too...... sheesh....

yes that might be true enough of how most would feel but you do realise that if you hit someone then you can and more than likely will be charged (this might depend on the state your in- But in Qld, I do know of someone that was charged and is currently serving 2 years jail for running someone over, even though that person was drunk, and jaywalking. He stepped out on to the road and the driver didnt have any chance to stop or swerve).

If the drunk actually survives they can also sue you!!!!!!! (that has also been done in QLD)
