Cockies out here are buying Polaris typ buggies by the way. Tojos and Rangers/Navaras, etc.. are being traded on these things for use around the Farms.
Chuck a decent trailer on the back for bigger loads and thats all thats needed.

While the basic Ford Six was code named Barra, the Turbo version clearly deserved its very own moniker – again enter Gordon Barfield.
We asked him if the engine had actually been called “Seagull” and how that came about.
“Actually it was just call “Gull”, because I named it that. Because we knew it was going to poo on everything”.

Theres a Polaris dealership thats gone up in the place of what used to be Essendon Holden, have to say haven't seen one of those before, its a bit eccentric for something in the inner northern suburbs of Melbourne.

Over here cockies have mainly switched from ATV,s to these we call them side by sides ....much better in the weather because youve got a windscreen to hide behind ,and a little tray on the back ....much better to chug along behind the cows coffee in the cup holder as you listen to the radio

Could be something to do with the quad bike rollovers too.
My mate bought a Kubota RTV tray back thing he calls the Orange. having a screen roll cage and roof makes a lot of sense to a bloke that survived a Tractor roll over.
Plus Its far more practical and it has the cup holder as you point out too!
