How to get a valuation on an XY ?

Hello All,

Long time no post for me, and hoping someone out there can be helpful.

Long story short I re-built an XY Falcon 500 some years ago, but with a recent engine blow-up and a few other things in life, i am starting to consider selling the car.

Problem is with no engine, and some minor paint damage in the engine bay thanks to leaking brake fluid, i'm not sure if the car is sellable, or what value the car would be worth.

Does anyone know of who I could contact to provide an idea of what it would be worth ?

Its an XY, of course its sellable, my mate sold a rusty rusty shell for 5k. Of course a paint tidy and a running engine may be a benefit.

You can relax, you will have no issue selling.

From what I've seen if you " know what ya got" you can ask significantly more money than it's actually worth

It is the car in the show build in my signature - page 15 has some decent photos, other than no engine the car hasn't changed from this build.

I have also sourced a 302 engine and an engine shop has checked the block and the crank from my damaged angine and given them both the tick, so most of the parts are there to build a new engine.

If it is still as good as in the build thread its got to be 50k ish car without looking at it. I guess it depends on the engine rebuild and engine bay paint. Pretty nice and unique build.
