Greetings all, I am rebuilding an old '72 F100 and would like to paint it in the same livery (orangee-red) as the legendary XY GT HO. Can anyone tell me what the paint spec is please?

Is this what your after ?
XYGT Falcon colour range was as follows. " H " - Track Red " S " - Electric Blue " X " - Monza Green " 9 " - Nugget Gold " E " - Quick Silver " T " - True Blue " U " - Ultra White " 6 " - Vermillion Fire " I " - Jewel Green " O " - Yellow Ochre " 2 " - Bronze Wine " Z " - Wild Violet " Q " - Yellow Glow but there were other XYGT's with colours like these; " F " = Vintage Burgundy " B " = Black " D " = Raw Orange " C " = Bold Blue " F 289 " = Surfer Orange " L " = Limelight Metallic " EZ 099 " = Shell Yellow " 5 " = Tealglow " SPEC " = Whatever You Like Trim colours for XYGT's were " B " for Black, " " S " for Light Saddle and " W " for White. Any of these codes followed by a " 2 " meant that they came with a cloth insert option. |

Thanks guys, a bloke down the street has a GT HO that is really something. The colour of his car must be the track red 'H' as it is not the colour in the excellent examples provided above. Hopefully I will be able to make contact with him in the near future and get the code from his data plate. I can then compare them to the codes above. Thanks heaps, Greg
