Chairman's Award: Chairman's Award - Issue reason: Your outstanding contributions to this community have not gone unnoticed. IN my view you are a worthy recipient of the (rarely used) Chairman's Award.

I’ve not shopped there but have previously looked at some surplus stock items they advertised online. Not the cheapest for those bits.

I quite often used to come across their stuff on Gumtree. They used to actually be about half price... Not so much now, it seems.

Cheers, Tony

He runs around buying parts / take offs off dealers, bullbar fitters etc. Most of his stock is used / removed off new cars or old new stock.

They had a JAS Oceania part number in the specials and his list price on it is less than my buy price from JAS Oceania, and it's for sale half of that again so on the one thing I looked at he checks out.

I've bought parts off him before from Gumtree. The parts were NOS and were indeed nearly half price.

Steve here from Half Price Parts, just wanted to clarify 95% of our stock is brand new and genuine parts. Whilst we strive to offer new old stock 1/2 the RRP in some cases we can't. If we can help you in any way give the team a call on 0412760479 or www.halfpriceparts.com.au Thanks

My 2008 BF XR6 was rear ended in a low speed collision. The rear bumper is very damaged requiring replacement and the beaver panel, spare wheel well, lip of boot lid and plastic trim inside the boot around the boot latch is also damaged and requiring repair/ replacement. Currently at repair shop and am awaiting correspondence from insurers regarding the next step. They told me at the repairers that the rear bumper will be pretty much impossible to get now but they will quote it up as if it was able to be repaired/replaced. He said they are having trouble getting bumpers and parts for FGs now too. The car is otherwise in excellent condition for its age and distance travelled 208,000’km. I love the car and would love to keep it but I’m getting strong vibes it’s not really possible and am expecting further bad news on Monday next week. They have already told me it has been taken somewhere else for “further assessment” as it is “ extensively damaged”. I’m tipping a write off which is sad for me and the car as it has been brilliant, reliable and excellent. Such a shame to throw away a fantastic car because of this not to mention wasteful. To keep the car what should I do? I need a car and would love to keep it. Going to Bathurst on October 6th and they said not likely in this car…

Hi Steve will be in contact but wondering if you can source a new rear bumper for a 2008 BF XR6 in winter white with the grey trim inlay? It’s the later production body kit variant ther has the grey trim highlights. Pretty rare and they have said hard to get.

I think he is talking about the MK2.5 bodykit, with the dark grey insert in the rear bumper skirt.

Sorry no, mine is an XR6 bumper with the grey trim inserts. That is a standard XT bumper. Thank you for effort though. It is appreciated

Yes that is what I’m needing. I’m expecting insurance to contact me early this coming week to offer a payout.
