Possible to buy flood-beam-only LED driving lights?

Hey all. I've been looking for driving lights but don't want a longer beam than the headlight high-beams. The roads I drive on where I need the extra light are very long and straight, with trees close to the Rd and plenty of roos around. I'd like to be able to light up the sides of the Rd without blinding oncoming drivers over a km away.
Does anyone make these?

I've seen a few smallish 4" ones advertised as work lights but it doesn't sound like they'll be much of an improvement over the factory high beams.

Other thought was whether there might be anything that could replace the fog lights (which I never use). Car is a 2013 LW Focus S.

Any recommendations?

Not sure it will work on your car, I have a 4x4 that I have set up with various light.

I have long range LED Spot Lights that will go around 1km.

Then I have a LED Light bar to cover the middle range past the standard high beam and it has a LOT more light volume than your standard lights but not much past that.

Then I have 'roo' lights that are small LED Spread beam 'work lights' light bars mounted at a 45 degree angle that lights up the side of the road.

Each one is controlled by a separate switch so I can use any or all of the above when I activate the high beam lights.

Yes I live in regional NSW and do a fair bit of night driving and we have lots of wildlife mainly including roos, deer and wild dogs, we also have wild horses, and escaped cows.

Thanks. Small work lights on an angle could be an option if nobody makes bigger spread-beam round ones (which I'd prefer for aesthetics if I could find any)

Beam angle listed as 30deg.

Flood beam on my combo light bar is 60deg.

Their photometric graph shows it may still be suitable. Not too long but about 80m each side.

Not cheap though.

Thanks bro. Thought I'd looked at the Stedi site but don't recall seeing those. Could work but a fair bit more than I was hoping to spend.

I have set of these from Jaycar and find these led lights perfect for lighting up the roadway & surroundings, used them all over Australia with satisfaction.
I have the 7" lights and Jaycar also stocks the 9" lights if you prefer bigger.

Is there a specific reason for wanting LED lamps? Secondhand halogens are often quite affordable as people imagine them to be inferior.

While they would be good in a static environment they probably wouldn't be as effective at 100kmh+ on the highway. Specs say 1lux @33m.

Plenty of lights available in flood only, if you check out ARB, their Solis and Intensity lamps, also the Bushranger lamps.

Just get a small lightbar. The 20-ish inch long ones you see everywhere with the egg-carton shaped reflector don't have a lot of throw, but they spread the light quite widely.

I've looked at Jaycar a couple of times, they have some might be ok, although it says they're for lighting work areas and cargo spaces, and they don't list the specs for beam distance. Might have to ask them if they can supply that info...

as Prydey said above, the 1lux distance doesn't seem enough. I've seen some other "work light" options that list 1lux a bit longer at ~50m but not sure they'd be much (if any) better than high beams at that distance??

Haven't considered halogen - do they come in flood-beam (or spread-beam or whatever terminology is correct) options?

Had a look at ARB yesterday. Their smallest ones in the Solis range are much too heavy to mount on the front of a Focus without getting a nudge bar or something, when I mentioned what I was after they said to try NAPA for Hella/Narva and didn't mention anything in the Bushranger range being suitable. Haven't checked the Hella/Narva options yet though.

I put a small SCA lighbar on wife's Mondeo (1lux at 350m IIRC). My main priority is something that doesn't exceed the normal high-beam distance for dimming lights for oncoming cars. Most light bars are combo-beam, and the spot beam section will likely always exceed that distance limit. Any that don't are likely pretty poor all round.
