Default PUMA Gen E

Spec and price released in UK today.
Base model POUNDS 29995
Google tells me that equates to
A$59000

Enough said

No wonder Ford Ute Aus saw fit to quietly withdraw from selling Puma Gen E

MG 4 mid A$30s
Ora mid A$30 s
Renault Megane E tech A$54000
BYd Atto 4 $45000 (?)

Another reason why “Ford Ute Australia” will stay just that.

It seems there are no other products they can make “work” here.

And when the Chinese eventually take over the Ute market, you know what will happen.

Keep in mind that New Zealand takes the standard UK Euro design where as
Australia insists on changes to meet Australian Design Rules because knowing
Ford Europe, they back charge every change that’s made to their design….

Random question,
does New Zealand use ultra low Sulphur petrol for the Euro 6 vehicles?

I think they do.
That’s a good point on the ADR s
They also sell an ST Puma with the one litre engine screwed up to approx 130 kw and 250 nm but still with auto and the tighter harder suspension goes round corners like it’s on rails like a Fiesta st. Sells at about 48 k da
About three Escape models with the 2.5 hybrid and phev options top line model $72990 da !!!!

That’s in reference to saying the standard hybrid puma in the uk is gbp 26350 i
The st line hybrid Nz at 39990 da isn’t a straight exchange calculation

But the Gen E Puma is certainly up over 50k a$
Ridiculous
