I don't see any NSW backs worrying our blokes. They didn't in Origin 1, and they won't now. They won through the forwards in Origin 1, something that guys like Tony Carroll will fix this time round (ala how the Bulldogs had nothing against the Broncos pack and got punished for relying to much on their forwards).

The defence of Bell, Tate and Hodges won't get worried by any of the backs from NSW, and with Hunt as the last line, size of their backs or forwards won't be as big of an issue this time round.

FYI - Bell is playing in the Centres (not Wing) with Tate on the wing (ala his Test position)

PREDICITON: Close game. If the QLD forward pack can match the NSW pack in go forward and defense, the class of the QLD halves and backs will proove to much for NSW up the ruck and out wide. At Lang Park, with Queenslanders growing 10 feet tall on home soil, expect fireworks and power from the QLD forwards, and a rejuvinated QLD back line. However, if Hodges, Inglis and Carroll are all ruled out - expect a bigger strugle as these 3 would be big losses.

Either way - gotta love Origin

Thats about as bad a game as ive seen nsw play. Get rid of finch and anasta at a minimum. Omealy had a shocker, as did Mason. Across the park only about 2-3 NSW players can hold their heads up from that performance.

QLD absolutely outplayed NSW in all aspects of the game last night, a big contrast to what QLD played like in Game 1. It's like the two teams swapped game plans.

That try NSW scored was soft as.

Interesting, that Origin can all but fill a stadium in Melbourne, but come no where near it in Sydney. Might just be a bigger stadium in Sydney, I don't know!

Mogg more then did what was required of him last night, the tackle on King was a real highlight. Thurston and Lockyer finally clicked, and despite my preference for Bowen, I must say that I was wrong, Hunt was outstanding as fullback. In fact, I don't think there is a QLD player that isn't able to hold their head up high. Can't say the same for NSW! Absolutely shocking. And if Bell isn't fit for the next game, we can hopefully just slot Inglis straight into the team. Its looking good
