Your hearing must be pretty bad if you can't hear that. It's not even that high pitched.

I heard it. That sucks the big one. My mum couldn't hear it, though.

It made our two dogs leave the room.

I don't see how age has anything to do with it.. every single person born has slightly different ability to hear various frequencies..

As said above, it's just a marketing ploy to make youngens spend the $4.95 or whatever it is jamster will charge for it :P

I can see the MTV ads already .. :(

32 and with a little extra volume than normal I could hear it - it would mess me around a bit if I listened to it for like 5 mins. But on just adequate volume, I doubt a teacher across the room could hear it easily.

I actually tried this on my PC at work - it doesn't have speakers, but the VOIP phone is used as my speaker and I could not hear it on that. Might have something to do with the quality of the speaker in it.

My little nephew(5 yearold) could hear it when I turned the volume down to the point where I could no longer hear it. Not sure if it was the one mentioned in the link above as I got it from another site. 17kHz signal.

I can only just hear it.
Played it at work, really loud and had people just about screaming all over the office.

Woops.
