My wife is joining the Au club :1syellow1 and we have been offered a series 2 Fairmont in great condition. I was really wanting a series 3 for her. Apart from price what are the main differences b/n the two?

mileage for a 2nd hand vehicle ... not sure ... clear indicators on the side ... may have different alloys. That would be all that I can think of.

Go to carsales.com.au and "research cars", search through and there is a detailed spec listing and pics for all recent locally sold cars... all info you could ever need is there.
In answer to your question, there wasn't too much apart from side skirts, alloys and clear indicators to differentiate the series 2 and 3 Fairmonts and Ghias. Cheers. |

The interior trim is also different between an s2 & s3

no real benefits really different trims and wheels and side skirts and clear indictors all small stuff AUI quite different AUII-AUIII pretty close in the Fairmont.
