Default 2000 ford workers stood down - Ford hault production

As a follow on from tex's thread here
http://www.fordforums.com.au/showthread.php?t=57342

The stand down is continuing and ford have stopped production.

http://finance.news.com.au/story/0,1...75-462,00.html

Huon have been placed in the hands of administrators and there rescue package details include the car makers paying more for parts, which no doubt would follow onto us paying more for cars. They also want the car manufacturers to cover the sacked huon workers entitlements.
