Smile Reversing ratings

Did anyone just catch the news about the test done on cars for reversing sight visibility.I only just caught it but it looks like the fairmont came out best with 3 stars.

The Ford Territory fitted with reverse camera was one of only two vehicles to recieve a 5 star rating. The other car was a Lexus.

Our company Hilux is a hazard. We have to have high sides to cart chemicals safely. It is a trayback, and the sides come up level with the rear window. 0 Rear Visibility.

It was on Ch 9 news. The Territory with Camera is the best 4wd and the Lexus the best Sedan.

The worst is the Holden Viva (no surprise there) and Rav 4.

The Holden Commedore is as bad as the worst performing 4wd's.

As stated the Fairmont has the best visibility of a non standard equipped car.

The NRMA is pushing to have reverse cameras standard on all new cars. What a load of BS.

It may become an option across a range of cars, but I doubt it will become standard across the board.
