I just thought to myself, of how much of an idiot he was and how he's the type of person, that gives VL drivers, a bad name.
He gives drivers younger drivers a bad name.

In queensland Mc Donalds seems to be the hang out place on a thursday night right through to sunday. With rice burner skylines and their blow off valves (biggest case of little dick syndrome) and your typical VN, VK, VL with body kits that don't fit doors and guards are different colours, exhaust big enough to fit my arm in. Then about 10:00 they all head off in a big praide going burn outs, with their stereos that loud you can hear your own stereo over there music and or exhausts. Draging anyone in sight, sitting up people asses and just making complete dicks of themselves. What are young people these days coming too. Don't get me wrong there are some great looking VL, VN out there and i will admire them if they are. I own a XR6 BA and have the same problem people wanting to drag all the time. i also drive a MK1 escort with a few mods and i have the same problem! No offence guys but it seems to be mostly males. (DONT TAKE OFFENCE). Why is that????

In my very honest opinion...

The whole young kid in fast car acting like an idiot or a "hoon", which they think is cool- is very primal behaviour...who can be the biggest idiot/be the most dangerous. Therefore boosting their small ego and attracting a particular kind of Girl, normally known as car sluts , who are- or they, the idiot behind the wheel thinks are attracted to that kind of "masculine" behaviour, so they can land the hot shallow girl in the seat beside them and show off their "trophy". This all ties back to impressing their mates or potential "competitors".
Or is Newcastle different to other cities? :monkes:

I guess I'm one of the 10% of VL drivers that aren't ridiculous.

In all honesty I know alot of drivers like me that are responsible, but I know exactly what you's are saying, for every one of us theres about 50 little cappa hat seat reclined fully sikkers that want to go into as much debt as possible (with rich parents or a bank loan) just to get themselves a nice car that they can rip the springs out of and do burnouts.

In all honesty the only reason I own a vl is because, that is what my first car was, I love the look of them, the engine is easy to modify and I basically know the car pretty well, and if I was forced to purchase an Australian car, ford/holden or otherwise, I'd be pretty stuck on choices as I hate nearly every other Australian car except for the Territories or the ba/f xr's.

Had an argument with a knob on another forum recently, VN driver with an IQ of 2. Alot older then me, I'm fairly sure the VN is the new VL.

They are moving into VR/s territory too now, as a high Km VS can be bought for ~5k or less. And with these little pus brains, they don't care about the kms...they want a Holden (Fords are for "girls" in their opinions -what many said when I spoke Fords in High School), and want it to look good. Attracting "Back seat sluts" is a good way of putting in.

Society is superficial. But frankly, if these young ladies get boofed due to their own stupidity and failure to see beyond the skin, I don't care. Both parties deserve what they get, whether it be their car and head smashed against a lightpole, or an unwanted pregnancy.

My cousin just bought a VR SeriesII with about 240K on it.
The Auto tranny gave it up on the 3rd day :

He says i should get a real car one day, Needless to say he gets reminded of my full steel bumpers :
And also how my 28year old cars C4auto has and is lasting longer than his VR's Box :

Funny how you left out the Ford cars.
One of the biggest drag racing twits in QLD in Australia is a T series owner.
Shouldn't matter what car they drive it's the person in it behind the wheel that should be dragged out and slapped into.
Everyone has done a wheelie everyone has planted there foot down everyone loves the rush of power, Some take it to far and they are the ones that need help mental help.
But i know whats going on here, It's like the stranger who does something you think is the biggest and most awful thing you have seen, Then someone in the family might do the same thing, The impact isn't as bad and it's sweeped under the carpet and forgotten.

To enforce what I'm saying nob heads come in all different shapes and sizes.
Try Wednesday night i was going home from my brothers house and a little Hyundai excel was infront of me then next to me then on the other side of me then back to the left lane, As he slowed under the speed limit i was starting to pass him he floors it and moves ahead, He did this for about 4 min.
Take off at the lights he moves ahead flat out again he isn't doing the speed limit as i approach he speeds off again. Come up to another roundabout through that he takes all lanes up, Again i start to catch him as again he slows down i am almost fully passed him and he floors it again, Another roundabout he floors it in the left lane to the right lane and turns left almost hitting a car on the way passed no blinkers:.
I was about a month back dragged by a 85 corolla manual, He and his Miss's were having a ball slamming gears and poking there toungs out, I just keeped looking at them like WTF :

i own a regular ford fairlane zl . and it still gets the ladies in the back seat and i never do burnouts or have a loud ,huge (most cases just tip) exhaust. i do have a cd player though ;) if that counts as full sick lol. then im just another full sick p plater driver,, i love my car too much to do stupid stuff in it, including beating a vl off the lights.

Are you talking about AU T series owner or XR6T/F6 or Jap Turbo. Can you be more specific?
